The Greed Miasma here is more punishing than the earlier battle against Dagda: standing in it drops Defence to zero and costs half of current HP every round.

Reinforcements

After crossing the first bridge (Around the tree past the bridge). Reinforcements spawn and flank from the sides. A defensive stance to the tree's right side before crossing the next bridge is recommended.
After crossing the second bridge. A further wave of large birds arrives as reinforcements near the boss. Clear them quickly, since the boss can join the fight from there.
