Who they are

Mikaela is a former mercenary who once went by Iron-blooded Mikaela. She settled in Dagsion so she could pay for her daughter Mu's schooling. Cooking, baking and making coffee fill her spare time, and she likes looking after people. She starts as a Gladiator and joins in Part 1.

Mikaela is ranked C, a step below the published lists, because the guide follows the author's play on Dietrich's route: axes are inaccurate, Dexterity growth is 35%, and Speed of 40% does not let her double reliably. HP is 50% and Strength 45%. Veteran's Mettle gives Hit+10 against an adjacent foe, which partly offsets the accuracy problem. The path is Gladiator, Armored Ornius Rider, Warrior, Bau Lord. The author finds Blacksmith her best class, though it costs her movement. White Magic, Black Magic, Rider and Flier are all bane skills.
